Cavity wall foam filling process - uses foam of lower viscosity for repairs

The system delivers foam into the cavity between two walls, by drilling holes in one in which an injection pipe is inserted. The ingredients of the foam are mixed in metered quantities and pumped into the cavity. When repairing the foam filling fresh foam is introduced having a lower viscosity than the existing foam. The fresh foam is introduced over areas of between 1 and 2 sq. metres at a time. The fresh foam can be of urea formaldehyde resin. Solids and water content can be 25 and 75 kg. per cu. metre respectively approximately, and the air content 99% approximately by volume.
