PURPOSE:To reproduce the original sound with fidelity by adding a signal at the outside of an audible band generated from a signal generating means to an original audio signal at an adder means so as to obtain a signal being the superimposition of a pseudo harmonic onto the original audio signal. CONSTITUTION:An HPF 4 an n-order harmonic generator 5 generate a signal at the outside of an audible band in correlation with an original audio signal. The n-order harmonic generator 5 generates harmonics at the outside of the audible band based on the high frequency component of the original audio signal, that is, harmonic. The harmonics are added to the original audio signal by an adder 2 and the result is outputted form an output terminal 3. Thus, the audio signal outputted from the output terminal 3 is the result of superimposing a pseudo harmonic signal onto the original audio signal. The signal is amplified to drive a speaker, from which sound close to the original tone is sounded and reproduction comparatively with fidelity to the original sound is attained. |
