<p>A multi-purpose accessory for use on a press consists of a lower sub assembly with a set of matrices (26 to 29) and an upper assembly of piercing tool carriers (39) with pillars (24) between them, carrying ball cages (25) for vertical travel. The matrices have grooves for securing attachments to them, the whole forming a work supporting table. The matrices have elements (10) at the end between which they are locked by securing bolts, dowels etc., and including an outermost block (28) for the pillars. The matrices can be arranged to suit the work to be attached to them. The upper assembly similarly has elements which can be connected so as to suit the position of the tools to be attached. The matrices have recesses (33) for securing members (32) from front to back, also longitudinal recesses.</p> |
