<p>An indicator for radio navigation purposes receives digital data representing the signal for indication. The indication is displayed as an index on a scale by using several photo emitters in lines. The radio navigation instrument comprises an indicator with a transparent acrylic plastic cover below which are red (31, 33) and yellow (32) filters. A circle of photo emissive diodes (36) is mounted on a non-conducting base (35) while three seven segment numerical indicators (37, 38, 39) are located in the centre of the indicator. The photo emitting diodes are separately excited and indicate as an index against graduations on a disc (34).</p> |
