In an offset printing machine comprising a printing plate cylinder rotating in operational engagement with a blanket cylinder the improvement comprising the utilization of vacuumoperated cylinders for both the printing plate and blanket cylinders whereby the surfaces of the cylinders can be formed to a smooth finish for their entire circumference to provide a smooth operational engagement between the rotating cylinders. |
