<p>The colour CRT is primarily intended for transmission monitoring and for colour adjustment. It has a fluorescent screen providing reference colour luminescence on cathode -ray beam impingement in one or several partial regions on the inner surface of the screen plate. A second fluorescent screen provides a polychromatic luminescence, when the electron beam impinges on the remaining region fo the inner surface. Preferably the first fluorescent screen is coated with a reference white phosphor, while the second screen is coated with phosphors for red, green and blue colour presentation. Between the two fluorescent screens may be formed a light absorption zone of graphite or manganese dioxide.</p> |
