Leather safety work boot - has padded upper leg and rigid lower part with hollowed out part at back

The safety work boot is made of relatively rigid leather but the back of the leg (3ae is hollowed out in the middle of its upper edge (10). Thus the Achilles tendon is only in contact with a supple padded zone (6) while the ankle bones are protected. An inner lower part extends from the base to the hollowed out part and reinforcing, is incorporated between the inner and outer parts. The upper part of the leg (6) is made in a supple leather and is folded over to enclose padding which occupies the hollowed out part.
