The compact cine cassette has separate chambers for the supply and take-up spools, linked by an exposure station which has the width of the exposure window in the camera. The film is passed through the exposure station between guide rollers, on each side, and is pressed on the rear side by a sprung plate. The cassette has the same width as the film strip and suitable for small cameras, as opposed to conventional cassettes in which the spools are coaxial. The film loop does not have to be taken out of the cassette, and is ready for exposure as soon as it is dropped into the camera.
|
