Controllable contractor magnetic voltage surge regulator - has contactor transformer primary coupled to AC mains for transformer mains control

The magnetic voltage surge regulator is intended for controllable switching elements, such as contactors etc., having a soft magnetic transformer and at least one secondary. At the zeor voltage flow in the primary the secondary transmits a control pulse. The primary is connected to the alternating current mains which feeds via the contactor (7, 8) a load resistor (5). Thus the transformer is controlled by the mains. Pref. the primary is in series with a resistor (6) of high ohmic value as compared with the load resistor. The series connection is parallel to the contactor while the parallel connection is in series to load resistor.
