<p>The seat belt webbing consists of shoulder straps (1, 2), the two straps joined together and connected to the take-up roller mechanism (4) fitted centrally behind the back of the user. The two shoulder straps together with abdominal strap (3) are arranged in the shape of a triangle, the corners at the base of the triangle are woven through eyelets (5, 6). One eyelet (5) has a short strap (9) with length adjusting facilities (20) and fitting connected to an anchor point (10). Another eyelet (6) is similarly arranged but carries locking plate engaging with lock (11) which too is fitted to a short strap (9) and anchored to a point (10). When not in use, only one strap (9) with lock (11) remains loose, whereas the rest of the strap arrangements is held firmly against the rear seat backrest by the take-upp roll mechanism in an anchor point (4).</p> |
