When a conducting object enters the hf field generated by the coils, the coil system delivers through a following electronic circuit a switching signal for process progress control. Their own h.f. losses are largely independent from the ambient temp. Several coils are wound with copper and connected together, and in case of operation separate from the electronic circuit, they are connected through a doubly screened line.
