PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker designed to improve safety of the end part of a plating layer formed on the outer surface of a base material of a cooking pan.SOLUTION: In a rice cooker provided with a cooking pan 11 having a plated layer 65 formed by plating the outer surface of a base material 41 with metal different from the base material 41, the plated layer 65 is structured so that an end part is present on a partial surface of the inner surface or the outer surface of the cooking pan 11, and is formed on a part to be plated of the base material 41 by means of electroless plating. In this case, occurrence of burrs at the end part of the plated layer 65 can be suppressed because the plated layer 65 is formed with uniform thickness regardless of the shape and kind of the base material 41 by means of electroless plating even if the end part of the plated layer 65 is present on the surface of the base material 41 of the cooking pan 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
