The plant sprayer has spry head (4) with several nozzles, the head being able to be raised and lowered on an upright (3) on a vehicle (1). The centre axis (15) of the spray head (4) can be moved from a plane parallel to the plane of travel into a plane at right angles to the plane of travel. The spray head is raised and/or moved continually during the plant-spraying operation. The height and the tilt of the spray head can be adjusted and locked hydraulically or by means of a spindle. Shields in front of the spray head restrict the spray direction. The spray head can be moved on a pivot point (12) on the upright (3).
