The under car can move machinery that works in a horizontal or inclined position underground, The under car consists of two parallel rails with linked members, each with two channel irons whose upper and lower flanges point outwards. The lower flanges are joined by a base plate (6). The channel iron uprights are a certain distance from each other and joined by cross members running parallel to the flanges. The cross members support the roller chains which are fixed to the rail ends. The car supports the drive motor which turns a shaft (11) with a sprocket wheel (13) engaging with the chain and rollers (10) each side of the sprocket to rest on the parallel flanges (3). The car frame (1) carries hydraulically operated lifting legs which enables the vehicle to lift so that the track can be displaced.
