The airtight closable container wall is closed off by a cover hood the edge of which is bordered over inwards by a flange shaped edge reinforced by a metal ring. The metal ring (5) reinforcing the flange shaped edge of the cover hood is angled so that it forms a ring shaped chamber together with the bordering (2) and the adjoining walling of the container (1). The container almost wholly encloses the flexible material forming a section of the edge of the cover hood (4). The cross section of the metal ring is 'Z' shaped and is completely enclosed by the elastic material.
