Identical prefabricated stock strips are identically shaped, then assembled into a composite form. The construction makes seats, bicycle stands, plant and litter bin surrounds. The strips are butt weld jointed, or gapped parallel on longitudinally welded bars, or taper or parallel gapped on curved structures. Bent metal or plastic stirp sections (1) can be arranged side by side to build a free standing park bench. The strips can be of stiffened U-profile and of parallel width across the flanges or of variable width. Wood slatting is added to the seat and back contouring.
