<p>The precision press is used esp. for high rate production processes and has a swivel frame guided by pillars between upper and lower press parts. The upper part accommodates the movement system and its control, and the lower part the fixed part of the tool. The adjusting element facilitates the maintenance of the relative position of the moving and the fixed tool on the lowermost position of the moving frame and also the adjustment of the penetration depth into the lower tool. The lower end of each column has an adjusting arrangement with a screw thread with a nut for reducing play. Synchronous rotation of the screws of different columns is ensured.</p> |
