The crusher jaw drive assembly avoids critical stress situations on the swinging jaw even if accentric forces are present. This achieved by a stabilizing swing arm which takes up or eliminates torsion. The swing arm has its own seating which takes up lateral forces and is arranged in such a way that the lines of force originating from the line, as well as those directed to the working jaw pass the fulcrum of the stabilizing swing arm. The stabilizing swing arm (17) is hinged on pin (19) and has the same moment of inertia as the swing jaw (3). The lever arm between pin (19) and line of force of thrust piece (18) is shorter than the lever arm between pin (4) and the line of force of thrust piece (19) resulting in a lesser torsion of the stabilizing swing arm (17).
