<p>PURPOSE:To correct defects even after the formation of a liquid crystal panel by forming 2nd insulator films on wirings and forming 2nd thin metallic films which are insulated form the wirings and are electrically connected to picture element electrodes on the 2nd insulator films. CONSTITUTION:The 1st thin metallic films 22a, 22b and the wirings 23 insulated from signal lines are formed on the 1st thin metallic films 22a, 22b and the signal lines 13. The 2nd insulator films 24 are formed on the wirings and the 2nd thin metallic films 25a, 25b which are insulated from the wirings 23 and are electrically connected to the picture element electrodes 1a, 1c are formed on the 2nd insulator films 24. The thin metallic films 22, 25 and the wirings 23 are melted by heating and the 1st and 2nd insulator films 21, 24 of the lower layers are broken down when the 2nd thin metallic films 25a, 25b are irradiated with light. At least either of the 1st or 2nd thin metallic films 22, 25 and the wirings 23 are electrically connected. The defects are corrected in this way even after the liquid crystal panel is formed.</p> |
