PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer provided with a functionality test device capable of accurately testing by measuring the printing density printed in the previous process and the light reception quantity of ink having functionality.SOLUTION: A printer is provided with a functionality test device which includes a test unit having: a first test mechanism including first irradiation means and first light reception means for measuring the printing density; a second test mechanism including second irradiation means and second light reception means for testing the functional ink; and a control unit determining whether or not the light emission intensity of the functional ink is within a reference range on the basis of the measurement value in the first test mechanism and the measurement value in the second test mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
