PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission which does not interrupt power transmission while preventing the same from growing in size.SOLUTION: When shifting up a gear, an electronic control unit 60: releases connection between a low speed drive gear G1 and a first input shaft 22 while engaging an electromagnetic powder clutch 52; and switches from a torque transmission route through a low speed gear mechanism 32 to the torque transmission route through a high speed gear mechanism 34. When shifting down the gear, the electronic control unit 60: connects the low speed drive gear G1 to the first input shaft 22 while disengaging the electromagnetic powder clutch 52 which is initially engaged; and switches from the torque transmission route through the high speed gear mechanism 34 to the torque transmission route through the low speed gear mechanism 32. Thus, torque transmission is not interrupted while the gear is shifted. Because the electromagnetic powder clutch 52 is disengaged after the gear is shifted, the power transmission can prevent the same from growing in size by curbing an increase in clutch capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
