PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence due to residual vibration without increasing a waveform length.SOLUTION: Print data is received, half-tone processing is executed for the print data, half-tone data, which indicates kinds of discharge drops in every driving period of each nozzle, is created, and presence or absence of discharge of a relevant nozzle is discriminated. When there is discharge of the relevant nozzle, a discharge interval between a former (immediately former) discharge and a present discharge is calculated, and whether or not the calculated discharge interval is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold is discriminated. When the discharge interval is equal to or less than the threshold, a correction amount (voltage correction value: use of a correction ratio) of a drive waveform is decided from a combination order of kinds of the former (immediately former) discharge drop and the present discharge drop by use of a correction table. A voltage value of the drive waveform for discharging drops which is given to the relevant nozzle, is corrected on the basis of the decided correction amount, and the corrected drive waveform is given to pressure generation means corresponding to the relevant nozzle, thereby discharging the drops from the relevant nozzle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
