PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an account application method and system configured not to receive an application for an account from a district where business activities are not operated.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 acquires a postal code as information specifying a district including an address of an applicant, and transmits the postal code to a reception server 20. The reception server 20 refers to storage means provided in the reception server 20 using the postal code received from the portable terminal 10, determines whether the received postal code is within a business territory or outside the business territory, and transmits information based on the determination result to the portable terminal 10. When receiving the information that the location is outside the business territory, as the information based on the determination result, the portable terminal 10 presents the information that it is outside the business territory, and, when receiving the information that it is within the business territory, transmits to the reception server 20, input information necessary for opening the account on the basis of an instruction of the applicant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
