<p>The infant's potty (1) has indicating means which use a temperature sensor (4) positioned in the bottom of the potty (1) and responsive to the rise in heat upon the reception of solid or liquid body wastes. The temperature sensor (4) is connected to means for providing an audio or optical signal to indicate that the potty has been used, so that the body wastes can be disposed of, the signal ceasing as the wastes cool down. Pref. the temperature sensor uses a bimetallic switch (4, 5, 6), which closes in response to a temperature rise to close the battery supply circuit for the signalling means.</p> |
