A preferred composition of the electrolyte comprises 2À5 g/l of ZnSO 4 , 50 g/l of Na 2 SO 4 , 50 g/l of Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 , 5 g/l of HgSO 4 , 300 g/l of H 2 SO 4 , 20 g/l of dextrin and 10 g/l of dibutylamine. The lead dioxide electrode is a grid of Pb-Sb filled with the oxide paste and the zinc electrode is a stainless steel web coated with amalgamated zinc. |
