<p>1491732 Valves VAPOR CORP 21 Oct 1974 [4 March 1974] 45469/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division G3] A pilot operated relief valve for a pressure vessel has ports 16, 17, for connection to the vessel and to atmosphere, and a seat member 21 and pallet 23 closing thereon, the latter being operated by change of differential pressure across a wall of chamber 34 which is connected to the pressure vessel or to atmosphere as controlled by the pilot valve 11. Pallets 61, 62, on a plunger 60 of valve 11 are arranged so that when the chamber 34, which is connected to port 53, is connected to atmosphere, through port 49, port 51, connected to the pressure vessel, is shut off from the chamber 34. The pressure chamber 34 may be a bellows between fixed and moving plates 33, 38, guided by rods 26. The pilot valve may be loaded by the field from magnet pallet 62 through magnetic member 68 around port 59 adjustment of lifting and blow down pressures being made by axial shifting of the member 68 and pallet 61 at their attachments.</p> |
