As shown, roller 151 comprises P.T.F.E. coated aluminium and contains a quartz element 152. A peristaltic pump 164 pumps silicone oil through tubes 165 to wick 157. A spring urged plate 158 presses the wick 157 against the roller 151. A second selectively operable pump and set of delivery tubes may be provided so that the width of roller 151 to which oil is supplied can be adjusted according to the width of copy paper being used.</p> |
