PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily hear lyrics voices for singing music when the music containing lyrics is being reproduced.SOLUTION: A reproduction device outputs a music signal and a lyrics voice signal expressing lyrics of the music signal. The reproduction device first detects, in the music signal, a lyrics section where lyrics are output and an interlude section, next generates a plurality of block lyrics voices constituting the lyrics voice signal on the basis of lyrics data, and controls timing for outputting the block lyrics voice on the basis of the relation between the length of the lyrics section and the interlude section and the length of the block lyrics voice. Accordingly, the lyrics voice is output at appropriate timing, based on the length of the lyrics section and the interlude section in the music signal and the length of the lyrics voice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
