Such a binding has a jaw (1) to receive a boot sole projection (9) which is situated on the toe of the boot. The jaw (1) has, seen in plan view, a constriction (2) over which a clip (3) extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the ski, this clip being articulated at one end on the jaw (1) and being capable of being latched by its other end into a hook of the jaw (1). The boot sole projection (9) possesses a recess corresponding to the constriction (2) and is held down by the clip (3). As a result the jaw (1) can be of small design, and, at the same time, it is made possible to enter the binding from above while avoiding the slipping-away of the ski. <IMAGE> |
