The fork-lift truck has a load carrier which is rotatable about a vertical axis as well as displaceable in a horizontal plane. A first motor (1), by means of a shaft (2) and further power-transmission means, serves to perform the rotary movements of the load carrier. A second motor (3) and power-transmission means allocated to it serve to perform the displacement movement. The motors (1, 3) or the power-transmission means allocated to them can be connected in synchronous phase by means of a coupling (18) which is driven via chain drives (4, 5, 6; 12, 13, 15). This enables the rotary and displacement movements to be carried out in synchronism or independently of one another. <IMAGE> |
