<p>A system wherein standardized, modular shipping components are convertible for use as trailers, semi-trailers or truck bodies. The modular shipping units are constructed to provide maximum use of available cubic space and have wheel carriage receiving units on the bottom thereof. Removable wheel carriages are provided to be attached to the modular shipping units and a trailer vehicle adapted to receive the modular shipping units is provided with means for moving the shipping onto and off of the frame of the vehicle to make a load carrying truck.</p> |
