PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically execute image processing, corresponding to a plurality of functions, by an image processing part in accordance with a document mounting state relative to an original platen without performing a setting operation or the like by a panel part.SOLUTION: When a part (edge) of a document is detected by any one of document detection sensors 134a-134d and further it is detected by a pressure plate opening/closing detection sensor 135 that a pressure plate cover (omitted in the figure) is closed, a system control part 122 causes an image processing part 117 which performs image processing corresponding to a plurality of functions on image data of a document read by a scanner part 130, to execute a function allocated to the one of the document detection sensors 134a-134d that has detected the document.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
