The pallet (1) is intended for use in handling products which are subjected to treatment in a room with controlled air conditions, and is so arranged that air flowing (4) below the pallet deck (2) travels upwards through the carried products which may or may not be held in containers (3). In the space between the deck and the bottom of the pallet through which the air flows, a throttle element (5) is provided at two opposite ends or between them. An enclosed lorry for transport of such pallets may have air inlet and outlet fillers in its forward and rearward walls respectively, and a vertical partition behind the forward wall with air outlets positioned to correspond with the air channels of the pallets.
