Disclosed is an apparatus for preventing a foreign material for a bridge support, wherein the bridge support includes a lower member installed on a bridge pier to support an upper structure of a bridge; an upper member installed on a lower surface of the upper structure; and a displacement accommodating member installed between the upper member and the lower member to support a vertical load and accommodating a horizontal displacement or a rotational displacement of the upper structure. The apparatus for preventing a foreign material for a bridge support according to the present invention comprises: a fastening member coupled to surround the outer circumferential surface of an upper area of the lower member; and a foreign material preventing unit made of a rubber material or a synthetic resin material, having a lower end coupled to the fastening member and an upper end elastically attached to a lower surface of the upper member to prevent a foreign material from coming into the displacement accommodating member from the outside. According to the present invention, the apparatus for preventing a foreign material for a bridge support can prevent a foreign material and can be mounted and applied to various types of pre-installed bridge supports by having the foreign material preventing unit provided in the fastening member coupled to surround the outer circumferential surface of the upper area of the lower member, can be changed by controlling the height of the foreign preventing unit, thereby being easily changed and applied regardless of the width of the gap between the upper member and lower member. |
