<p>Writing on windows bearing droplets of condensate is a carried out by using a thin film of surfactant, pref. in an alcohol-aq. soln. which is applied prior to formation of the condensate droplets. Device for writing on the windows comprises a felt-tip pen with a handle filled with the soln. of surfactant, pref. with low vapour press., by charging with a solid surfactant together with a solvent. The solid surfactant may be disposed near the felt top, while the solvent is contained in a porous material in the handle. After the writing has been applied the condensate is precipitated in the areas bearing writing in the form of a coherent liq. film, and in the form of droplets in the remaining areas.</p> |
