Garage door with horizontal pivoted slats - has vertical guide rails connected at top to horizontal members

The armoured door made from pivoted connected slats is used especially as a garage door. The profiled strips are guided by their ends in vertical channel shaped profiles by end pieces. This door requires minimum accommodation space. It is free standing and does not require supporting structure. The layout does not require any additional safety devices such as brakes or safety contact profiles. Each vertical guide profile (4) has horizontal guide rail (5) at its supper end. The two profiles are connected by a curved member. The horizontal profiles (2) of the door slide within the horizontal profile (5). The door is supported on horizontal profiles (5) when in open state. Door actuation is facilitated by motor driven cable pulley with incorporated weight balancing device.
