<p>The aerosol can protective cap is in one piece and formed of plastics having a coaxial inner tube in contact with the valve plate. The diameter of the inner tube (2) is equal to that of the valve plate (3) at its upper edge (4), so that the inner tube stands centrally on the valve plate edge (3a). On the outside wall of the inner tube there are three or more evenly-spaced stiffening ribs, running in the axial direction, with lugs (6) on their ends extending beyond the inner tube, and engaging under the valve plate edge. Curved segments can be formed on the ribs. The design firmly secures the cap on the can, even under heavy axial pressure.</p> |
