In the section-wise erection of a tunnel tube, each section (14), which is previously made in an excavation, is advanced through a sealing wall (10), and in particular together with the formwork bottom plate (13), on rails (15) which run along the tunnel gradients. After this section has been concreted onto the previously completed section, the formwork bottom plate is drawn back into its position forming the bottom of the formwork. This plate has a rear shoulder (24), which overlaps the concreted part, and continuous bores (18) parallel to its longitudinal central line. Arranged in these bores are longitudinally movable tension rods. Fastened on the rear side of the plate are hollow-piston advance presses, the piston rods of which are arranged for engagement on coupling pieces fastened on the tension rods at a spacing of one piston stroke. In particular an easy introduction of the advance forces into the tunnel tube is thus made possible without danger of the last concreted section sinking. <IMAGE>
