<p>The form removal device is for use with uprights or towers in scaffolding to reduce the height when the concrete has set, enabling the scaffolding to be moved or dismantled without being subjected to pressure from the building. Two or more sliding elements are connected by a support pin. There is a cam (13), or more than one, inserted on to the pin (5a), and rotatable relative to it. A scaffolding element (3) carries the cam on a swivelling setting, another element (1a) being supported against the cam. At least one lever (10) is rigidly connected to the cam, and there are locks (17) to prevent the cam from working free. There may be a ring, of hard metal, between the crown of the cam and the supported element.</p> |
