<p>One roller has a constant dia. relatively to the other whilst the other has a yarn carrying or drawing surface of a different diam. The yarn carrying diameter is limited on each side by a circumferential surface, the diameter of which is greater by a little less than the thickness of the thread to be drawn, than the diameter of the yarn drawing surface. This is formed of wear resistant material, whilst outside this zone, the circumference of the rollers forms a driving surface. The clamping capacity of the prior art rubber rollers is 30 to 50% less.</p> |
