The generator produces a complex period function from its components. Each of these components being defined by its amplitude, frequency, phase at the origin and its form. The generator processes the signals representing the arguments of an elementary period function for the diverse components. It has a memory in which is arranged a table defining the form of each component. The generator periodically consults the memory's table and produces an output signal. This signal represents the sum of the values of the periodic elementary function. This sum corresponds to the diverse components (balanced) compared with the values of the amplitudes corresponding to the same components. The generator periodically repeats these operations.
