1535260 Camouflage sheet BARRACUDAVERKEN AB 3 May 1976 [5 May 1975] 17918/76 Heading F3X A camouflage sheet in which a visual camuoflage effect is at least partly produced by holes punched in the sheet, each hole being circular or substantially oval, having a smoothly curved periphery and being positioned at a point of intersection of a substantially equiangularly triangular grid array, the arrangement being such that the density of holes is different in different areas of the sheet and the linear dimensions of which areas are large by comparison with the separation of adjacent points of the grid array, the sheet may contain a number of holes of one diameter and a number of holes having a diameter which is twenty-five to one hundred per cent larger than said one diameter. The size of the grid formation of one cluster of holes can be different from the size of the grid formation of another cluster of holes in the sheet. The sheet may have one side thereof white for winter camouflage, may be provided with a net, may have a layer of electrically-conductive material for radar camouflage, and may have a greater number of holes at its edge portions compared with the number of holes in a comparable area towards the centre of the sheet. |
