Test tube vibrator for mixing - with the movement limited by elastic connectors strengthened with fabric

A vibrator for mixing materials in test tubes has a recess which moves in a circular path. The turning of the recess is limited by two or more elastic connectors installed radially symmetrical w.r.t. the drive shaft. They connect the recess to fixed points on the equipment. A test tube whose contents are to be mixed is pressed into the recess which begins to rotate. The top of the tube is steadied by hand during the mixing. Conventional devices for limiting movement of the recess tend to exert too great a breaking force on the motor as it starts or to be unreliable because they are too flexible. They allow too much noise to be produced. These problems are solved with the present design.
