<p>Protective shoe for use during sports such as karate etc. has a resistant, bendable, cover which fits the upper part of the foot with elastic foam material inside. The shoe includes open sections both at the top and on the sole. A slot section (21) extends from the open section at the top (16), with the open section at the sole having an outer edge (34) fitted with outer holding devices (26) and a centre transverse part (28). close to the latter there are two openings (36, 38) for the toes of the wearer.
