<p>The clip for fixing electric cables or small dia. pipes is made from mild steel or soft aluminium. The steel clips can be protected by plating or painting and the aluminium clips can be anodised. The clip is formed to suit the shape of the cable (33) with a tag (30a) fitting underneath the cable and a tag extending outwards. The undersurfaces of the tags (30a, 30b) are coated with a layer (31) of pressure sensitive adhesive enabling the clip to be pressed into the required position. For additional security a hole (35) is provided for a nail or screw. The clips may also be made from plastic extrusions.</p> |
