<p>The signalling disc is fixed to a road vehicle, to indicate to other road users that the vehicle is being driven by a learner driver and/or to indicate the max. permissible speed of the vehicle. It comprises two separate concentric elements, the inner element (1) carrying the max. speed etc., while the outer element (2) is in the form of a peripheral ring with points marked round it. Pref. the inner element (1) is normally used alone, with the outer element being fixed to it to indicate when snow chains or studs are fixed to the vehicle wheels.</p> |
