<p>Prodn. of ZnO of electrophotographic quality by treatment of ZnO comprises heating the ZnO to 150-800, pref. 350-430, esp. 390 plus-or-minus 15 degrees C. or ca. 400 degrees C. and then treating with an organic cpd. (I) with min. 2, pref. 3-5 C atoms and an alkene gp., pref. C3H6, i-C3H6, C4H8 or a diene, esp. butadiene, pref. in the gas phase. Economic prodn. of electrophotographic quality ZnO technical quality ZnO is obtd.</p> |
