<p>The digital electronic watch includes a position-responsive switch (10), which is closed when the watch is positioned in a given way, to complete the circuit between the watch battery and the light source for the digital display. The position-responsive switch (10) may be in the form of a capsule (12) containing two switch contacts (16, 18) and partially filled with a conductive liq. (14). The switch (10) may be adjustable, e.g. by rotation relative to the watch case, to vary the position of the watch in which the switch (16, 18) contacts are bridged.</p> |
