The arrangement for securing a fuel injector nozzle (1) in the suction duct (4) of a combustion engine comprises a low thermal conductivity insulating member (6) between the nozzle and the orifice (2) in which it is inserted, which member is secured in the orifice by an element (9), the nozzle being firmly held (14) by the member engaging a recess (12) in the nozzle. The element (9) is so arranged that it permits varying the intensity of the engagement between the member and the nozzle. To this end, the orifice may have a larger-diameter female-screwed portion to receive the member (6), into which portion a male cap screw (9) can be screwed to tighten the member and thus to produce the variable degree of engagement (14).
|
