<p>A grain dryer comprises in series, a first chamber (1) for supplying dry air, a second chamber (2) for the circulation of grain under gravity through air supplied from the first chamber (1) and a third chamber (3) for the exit of moist air and chaff. The second chamber (2) contains alternate pairs of horizontal rows of air admission members (7, 8) and air extraction members (9, 10). In each pair, the members of one row support those of the other. The members of the upper row of one pair of rows is directly over the members of the upper row of the pair below, while the offset members of the lower row of the one pair is directly above the offset members of the lower row of the pair below.</p> |
